This just happened recently on Abuja express road Former Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh has been killed by unknown gunmen in Abuja. He was going to Abuja this evening when he was attacked by gunmen and killed. Nigerian Airforce spokesman Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola confirmed the death in a tweet this evening. ”It is with a heavy heart that I regretfully announce the unfortunate demise of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, who died today, 18 Dec 18, from gunshot wounds sustained when his vehicle was attacked while returning from his farm along Abuja-Keffi Road. ”On behalf officers, airmen and airwomen of the Nigerian Air Force, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar, commiserates with the family of the late former Chief of Defence Staff over this irreparable loss. EFCC arrests 36 "G-boys" and recovers over 250 sims and charms

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Ibadan has arrested 36 suspected internet fraudsters at 21, Sawmill Road, Awa-Ijebu, Ogun State. The commission’s acting Head, Media and Publicity, Mr Tony Orilade, made this known in a statement in Abuja on Thursday. Orilade stated that the suspects, who were between 19 and 37 years of age, included 23 university students, out of which, nine were ladies who allegedly claimed to be girlfriends and or neighbours of some of the suspects. The spokesman added that one of the suspects was from another university, while 12 others were not students. He stated that EFCC got wind of their activities through intelligence reports alleging that the suspected fraudsters were obtaining money by false pretext. Singer, Davido’s manager, Asa Asika has refuted a controversial report that implied that the singer is member of a secret cult. One Tobi Adegoke, a 25-year-old suspected member of the Black Axe cult, said he was lured into becoming a member of the group with promises that joining the group would grant him the rare opportunity of meeting Davido. The story which went viral last week, shares how Tobi Adegoke fell for the cheap trick because he believed meeting Davido would boost his music career.
