A medical doctor in the radiology department of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) identified as Dr. Osasogie Ogbeide, was said to have been found dead in the hotel last Sunday.
Dr Ogbeide friends have since taken friend took to Facebook to mourn him. One wrote:

THE NEWS IN FULL Update on Arondizuogu Kidnapping Saga:  The three kidnappers seen on the video were apprehended in Enugu State and paraded before HRH Awada Eze Kosman  Ndubisi Kanu where they would briefly interrogated. One of them is from Arondizuogu, a relation of late police commissioner Julian Okpareka. They claim to have assassinated Sunday Ejeagwu for refusing to obey their order to come down from his car and shot and killed a Reverend Father at Padesico gas station. More confessions and revelations are expected as the interrogation continues. Meanwhile, they have been taken to Owerri for further investigation. And they were finally caught in enugu
